Great fun at Silverwood and Boulder Beach!

We finally made it to Silverwood/Boulder Beach. It is the closest amusement park to us. (4 hrs away) Bjorn earned a free ticket by reading 600 minutes, during a certain amount of time during this past school year. So we joined the Spears for some late summer fun. We made a full day of fun, starting with the 4 hour drive. We started at the water park and then moved over to the amusement park. We of course closed the park down at 10pm, which was actually 11pm our time. The kids did awesome and were going full strength to the end. I think the parents tuckered out around 8pm:) So we decided to find a hotel room instead of driving into the wee hours of the morning. Good decision!!!

Abby and Madison in the second row, Colt and me in the 3rd row and Marc and Brady in the fourth row.

Abby and Malea (on her first roller coaster)
Eli and I on the Elephant ride!
Brady and Eli (this is Eli's pose for some reason)
Marc and Madison in the 3rd row, Brady and Colt in the 5th row and Eric and Bjorn in the 6th row of the Timber Terror!
Madison and Malea in the Garfield ride.
Colt and Eli, do they look bored or what? Actually Eli really thought he was cool being able to ride.

Elijah having a great time at the kiddy area of the water park!
Bjorn and Brady and Colt behind him to the right.
Bjorn blocking the fountains
Colt under the fountain!

FUN!!! How are you doing with Homeschool stuff? Feeling a tiny bit better? We start next week...I've got a ton to get ready :) I'm letting summer drag out as long as possible. I think its because I'm Alaskan and since its 90 degress plus outside...to me its vacation time! Just checking in with ya! You are going to do great. I was thinking a little more of how I would handle four boys at school...maybe I would try out a swap schedule. Give the two older three days of all them schooling with side activities for the younger ones and then on the other two days give the younger two the morning time and the older two bookwork, reading or something independant. So you arent going nuts with four math lessons ect...I dont know. You'll do whats best for them!
