Glacier trip with Brady and Colt.

Brayden and Colt's classes went to Glacier National Park yesterday on a field trip. We had a great time. Here are couple pics of the trip.

Yes, another post of Eli!

I just had to put this one on here. This is the second time he has dressed like this and I got a picture of it this time. He is so proud of himself so I wanted to share it with you all.

Classic Eli sleeping!

I just had to put this picture on here. This is a pretty common way for Eli to fall asleep, but this time his legs were crossed. It was a perfect picture opportunity. I have to put the disclaimer out there that I didn't dress him for bed, daddy manages to mismatch pj's any night that he gets Eli ready for bed

School concert time!

So tonight was our spring concert at school. It was really cute, but I must say that my boys really put on a daddy face of excitement when they are singing. :) You will notice that Bjorn isn't in any of the pictures. That is because mommy fell for the sick card this morning due to a bout of the stomach flu and lets just say I am a little gun shy. As the day went on, I found out really quickly that he was not very sick at all. First clue: he came downstairs after his brothers walked out the door with daddy and was really rather chipper. About 5 minutes earlier, he was walking around the kitchen practically playing dead! Oh well, must have needed a day off after the 3 day weekend. So anyhow, that is why there are no pics of him.

Bjorn is pitching!

Bjorn had a game tonight and pitched for the first time during a game. He did awesome, but the weather was aweful, it was 45 and raining for 4 of the 5 innings. They finally called off the game, but they won 2-0. We only have 2 more games this week, but the weather is supposed to improve. YEAH

Garage Sale and baseball game!

I will try my best to sum up our busy weekend as brief as possible. I had to do seperate entries because I wasn't happy with how the pictures were laying out and now I'm still not happy with the layout. Oh well. This is how our Saturday started.... Eric and Elijah went to Spokane (4hrs. away) to pick up his dad from the airport. So I had the other 3 boys and we had a garage sale to do along with 2 other families. So we showed up to set up for the garage sale at 8am. Then quickly ran Colton to a playdate and had to be back for the sale to start at 9. Sat around waiting for people to clear me out of my junk. (honestly, I really don't think that garage sales are worth the time) Then had to run Bjorn to his baseball game at 11:30. Brady stayed with aunt Andrea at the sale. Bjorn was at bat twice and was frustrated that there was no connection with the ball. But did great and is starting to work at pitching. Here are a couple pics of him outfield with sunflower seeds in his mouth. They won 1-0.

The Concert!

We then had to return to the garage sale and sit around, again waiting for people to buy my junk. Finally packed up at 4pm and ran home to vaccum and mop the floor before company comes. I was litterally sweating because I had little time before our next schedule thing. I took the older three boys on a date to a concert. The main band was SuperChick, but first came Starlit Platoon, great band, but the second song in the fire alarms went off and we all had to evacuate the church. So we all spent an hour outside while the firemen cleared out the building. My boys made the best of the time and spent some male bonding time wrestling in the grass. Pretty funny! We were finally able to get back to the concert. Brit Nicole was up next. She was great and the boys didn't even complain about a girl singer. So great to have a girl be a positive role model for the young girls. Then came KJ-52 a rapper, the boys absolutely loved him. Uncle Kep would've been proud of the his rapping nephews. Great fun. Up next was Disciple, and lets just say that we spent that time out in the foyer. As Bjorn said, "this band is a little much, mom;" So we took a seat on the floor by Brit Nicole's merchandise table. Along comes Brit Nicole to sign autographs, we were in the way so I talked to her for a couple seconds. We then decided to head home without even seeing SuperChick (major disappointment for mommy) but it was 10:30 and the boys were really fading. So we missed out on them, but what a fun time. Christian music is awesome and it so nice to have that for the boys, instead of all the junk that is out there. So we get home and Bjorn says to Eric, "daddy, mommy even talked to that girl (Brit Nicole)" I guess that was a big deal, but I maybe said 8 words to her. So funny what they think. So that was the end of a very busy but fun day. Just thought I would share.
