I just had to share this sweet story with you. This morning I heard Eric talking to Brady at the breakfast counter. I overheard him asking Brady to pray for work for him. So of course Brady says, "why, don't you have any work?" Eric says, "I have a little, but things are slowing down." So, every morning when we start school, we start with a prayer. Brady asked if he could pray for the day. Sure enough, he remembered to pray for work to come in for daddy. No reminding from mommy! After school daddy calls and says that he got a total out of the blue call for an interior quote. Which he will do today! There isn't a confirmed job yet. But it was awesome to see the simple prayer of a child. Even if we don't get the job, it was still answered in the way God wanted it answered. Which is always a good lesson for all!

First Hockey "Game"
A little delayed in the posting. Every Friday practice is scrimmage day. They don't have actual games against other teams at this age. So they have scrimmages instead. Brady was all over it. He is just sweating after the game. (as we all freeze watching him:) Typical Brady, on Friday his coach asked him if he needed to take a break and sit out? His response in an out of breathe voice, "no, I want to keep playing". He is one determined player! I have been trying to post a video clip on here of his game, but haven't been able to download it. So here are a couple pics instead.

At Last!!!!
We honestly thought this day would never come! But Colt finally lost his first tooth! It was literally hanging by a string and daddy had to convince him that it really wouldn't hurt. So he bucked up and let daddy pull it out. Yeah!

Hockey has begun!
Last night was the first of many hockey practices to come. Brady started hockey. What an expensive sport, ugh! Fortunately we have friends that aren't playing this season, and they graciously let us borrow their gear. More then likely we will make this an every other year sport. :) He absolutely loved it. Practices are every MWF, so we are gonna be running around a bit. The rink is also an outdoor rink, so that makes it a little cold for the audience. Oh the sacrifices we make. :) Brady with his buddy Lincoln doing a drill of some sort. (I am not the hockey buff)
