More pool time!

We spent a couple nights at my parents house while Rachel is here with her kids. It was only going to be one night, but we had fun and had to hold out for some warmer weather. We got it and had a great time!

Miss Savannah!

Check out the boys, we in the Thorness family aren't familiar with all this girl stuff. But they love it! They were loving trying to put sunglasses on her.

Savannah in the full outfit! She does really well just chillin on a towel in the shade. Maybe that is what girl's do?

Hiking in Beautiful MT!

We had a great weekend of relaxing and then on a family hike. It was absolutely beautiful and the boys did awesome. We realized that it would be Eli's last time in the backpack carrier. He is just too big for it and it was pretty heavy for Eric. So we will see how he does on the next hike. :)

What is a pool without a slide????

So yesterday we tried the slide that Bapak rigged up for his pool that he made. A few bumps and bruises were had, but all in all, a very fun time!

Then there was Parker (my nephew) chillin in the pool, and Savannah (my cutie patootie niece) sun tanning in the shade.

Bapak's fun new pool!

Bapak put in a shallow pool at the bottom of the hill, where there will be slides into it. Lot's of work but the work looks like it was worth it. Lots of fun for the kids! Thanks Dad! Aunt Andrea also made some very yummy cookies for the kids that they all enjoyed, but Noah looked like he enjoyed it the most.

Elijah's 3!!!

Hard to believe that Eli is already 3! We had a great day with lots of cousins here and lots of family for dinner and cake. Eli loves to sing Happy Birthday, but when it came down to people singing to him, he got all shy. Too funny.

Our 4th of July!

I had to put this one of the boys checking out the loot and they are laughing for boy reasons, Eli just (farted) as he says!
We had a very fun 4th this year! Me and the boys went down to my parents to hang out with family here from AK. We then went down to the beach and got stormed out about 45 min. later, so we decided to pack up and head home. Our plans changed several time during the ride home, but Eric thought it would be fun to go to dinner and movie and head home to sit on our patio and watch the fireworks that Eddie D'Bardilow (sp)(former owner of the 49ers.) does every year. His home is straight west of us a few miles. So that is what we did, we went to HuHot for dinner and then on to Kung Fu Panda. That was one of the better movies we've seen in a long time. Laugh out loud humor for adults too. We then headed home and had to stop on the way and pick up some last minute fireworks of our own. Got home and the boys got pj's on and we lit our own firecrackers, roasted marshmallows, and watched a very grand fireworks display a few miles away, also were able to hear the booming of the band they had playing, which was supposedly Maroon 5. All in all it was a very fun and safe 4th for us!

Eli loves kissing Savannah! Or as he says, "I kiss her bike dis (I kiss her like this" and then he shows you how he kisses her

SUGAR RUSH???!!!

I just had to put this one on here. Does it look like Eli was at all affected by the sugar in his popsicle, or did he even enjoy it?

"Camping"

We went "camping" this last weekend. The reason for the " " is because it wasn't exactly roughing it. We just went down to my parents river property. But we still tented it though. We had a great time and it was a much needed time for all of us especially Eric. He needed a day to do nothing!!!! We roasted many many marshmallow's (even strawberry marshmallows), fished, swam, rode dirtbikes (grandpa Roger got Colt's bike fixed so he finally got to ride, THX) and even mowed the lawn for bapak. Fun, fun! Thanks Bop and Nan for letting us use your property!
